Initial session: $150.00after that$150.00 per 50 minute session.

REDUCED  FEES

Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.  Please call to discuss options.  In addition,  I offer a reduced fee to Medicare patients whose insurance will not cover treatment by a MFT and to Kaiser patients as well.

I have currently applied to numerous insurance plans. In the meantime your insurance company may be one that will pay an out of network provider. (this is usually the case with PPO and POS plans. I will bill your insurance company for you. You may find your co-payments are not much more to see me than to see someone on your provider list.

While I will contact your insurance plan, it is highly recommended that you also contact your insurance plan and get details about your coverage. A quick phone call can save you a lot of headaches later, as well as help you make an informed decision related to your care.

Here are some important questions to ask:

  • Do I have mental Health benefits?
  • Is the therapist I want to see on your preferred provider list?
  • If not, what is your coverage for out of network providers?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met for the year?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover for this year?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session.(ie. what is my copayment /coinsurance)?
  • Is a preauthorization required before I make an appointment?

If your check "bounces" and is returned by the bank for insufficient funds, you are responsible for making payment in full and for any bank fees.
